FRANKFURT Oct 1st 2018 – The European Payments Consulting Association (EPCA), founded in 1998 aims to bring together consulting and professional companies related to payments in support of the growing number of complexities and strategic decisions to which they are faced, the result of disruptive technologies and new European regulations.
The entry of Demtech as an active member opens a new stage of collaboration in the field of related topics relevant to the industry today such as instant payments, PSD2, GDPR, Open Banking, mobile payments, Blockchain, payment cards, M&A and Digital Identity.
This alliance will allow Demtech to participate in Pan-European payment consultancy projects and cutting-edge technologies used in diverse services related to Fintech.
One of the main objectives of this union is to have a joint approach with the different relevant European players, such as large financial groups, banks, payment service providers, card acquirers, processors and investors and thus explore collaboration models and generation of joint consulting projects. In this way Demtech is positioned through its work and experience in the Fintech and payments world as one of the main providers of consultancy in payments for Spain and Portugal, relying on the EPCA members that have extensive experience in the sector. Facilitating the expansion and presence of these services in other objective markets outside of Europe.
